@poisonjr it’s called proof that y’all have a very poor inaccurate understanding of cluster b personality disorders and should stop talking about them and spreading stigma online
@lavendermurk knowing of a character on a surface level is different than understanding them on an analytical level. like i can see what you’re saying but ophelia was absolutely the wrong character to do that with and makes me think that she’s never actually read hamlet.
the insinuation that any woman can be saved from “the fate of ophelia” by a man is such a gross misreading of ophelia’s character and hamlet in general that i have no choice but to irrationally blame travis kelce to cope
@lavendermurk i never said she’s making a thesis on gender roles lmfao. i said she doesn’t understand ophelia’s character or hamlet in general. i’m not accusing her of some moral wrong doing. i just find it irritating.
@lavendermurk …you misread my tweet. taylor insinuated that a woman can be saved from the fate of ophelia by a man. she is the woman in question. hope this helps
@perchdinthedrk …which is a misreading of ophelia’s character that completely misses the point of her arc. you cannot “read too deeply” into SHAKESPEARE 😭
