@StJohnsShirtGuy@LegioEquestrisX@Richy6756 i mean sure but there’s also 134.5 million more so ofc there’s going to be more better looking? would be a big issue if there wasn’t
@pkpled yeah like metlife’s been around for 16 years and the ticket price for the finals are gonna be insane no regular fan is going to that, its gonna be an event for rich ppl who don’t care
@pkpled and ofc not all of our stadiums are 200 years old and small but even in our bigger ones it just feel less theatrical than some us sports where it appears to be more of a spectical if that makes sense.
@pkpled ofc ik majority hate the commercialisation of the sports but i think the argument ab soulless stadiums isn’t about noise and support i think it’s more about passion and history. Arrowhead was built in 72 whereas craven cottage was built in 1780 and the stadium opened in 1896
@Spirit_Handle@Soooo18478@Dami_Adz we can do both. sign players to win now (anderson, wharton, whoever you want in midfield) and sign “projects” or younger talent who will blossom in a few years instead of having to pay a premium in those few years all bc we couldn’t scout properly
@pkpled great way of putting it but i do disagree that we criticise you for not doing it the exact way we do, i think it’s more that brits don’t like seeing the game being americanised and that’s where they feel it will lead to e.g games being played abroad in soulless stadiums
