I've always had this same stance on spoilers. People have told me they don't like the stress of not knowing ahead of time and I'm sitting there like ??? is that not the point?

I find myself less inclined to seek out the experience of a new show/game/etc if I know what happens in advance 😭

It's rough right now for sure. As much as I would love to collect new sets as they come out, it doesn't make sense for me financially. But with how much older sets/singles are ballooning up in price, it is almost foolish not to offload some cards in order to collect other grails that I want or just to support myself in general.

It's sad when I truly collect for the sake of collecting. But when I see shelves empty, online queues over 1M+, drops sold out in <5 minutes, singles prices jumping up, I'm kinda left to concede and choose to either buy at the higher price or trade/sell away cards I didn't necessarily want to part ways with. That's the situation I'm in right now. Either that or switch focus someplace else.

It sucks but hopefully over time it gets better and we can go back to some kind of normal that is much more affordable 😭
