This will also allow remittances to increase, which hit $ US 135 billion world wide last year. Indian remittances from NZ is currently 0.25% of our GDP, this will accelerate quickly with more indians coming to NZ. Remember according to our own treasury report, this garbage FTA is only expected to increase our GDP by 0.7% …. and - AFTER 15 - 20 years !

Over the last decade India has assiduously worked to develop international payment gateways, and Modhi has made no secret of his ambition for India to be the architect of a global money network.

On the surface, it looks like democracy at work. But the objective is to reshape society gradually, one reform at a time. The changes are subtle individually, yet profound collectively. The transformation only becomes obvious in hindsight.

We cannot allow Labour to retain power. The direction of our country will be shaped by the choices we make today.

Here are the English proficiency score percentages according to national data

Elementary School

- White students: ~35–40% proficient
- Black students: ~15–20% proficient

Middle School

- White students: ~30–35% proficient
- Black students: ~12–18% proficient

High School

- White students: ~35–40% proficient
- Black students: ~15–20% proficient

Now obviously there is a gap here where white students are twice as likely to be proficient at reading compared to black students but that’s not the point

The point is nobody passes on average. Even at 40% that’s less than half our kids finishing high school proficient at English
