@CalmConference And make it a repeating meeting, so it just automatically fills out on our calendar. Otherwise we'd never be able to fit it in! Add in the accountabili-buddy to the process, and it has been amazing.

@CalmConference About a year or so ago, a co-worker and I set up weekly "focus time". We reserve on average 3 hours each week specifically for development tasks - catching up on readings and webinars, proposals, presentations, classes, etc. It has been life-changing!

The way universities talk about faculty vs staff is legitimately hilarious. It's always like: faculty, you are the LIFEBLOOD, the FOUNDATION. Oh, staff. Look at you little cuties behind the curtain. You're here too. Running things behind the scenes!
