I agree...but someone should be able to give us tools...maybe they are in this book, but i haven't read ahead #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

I feel like we made time and did interventions, we often ran into something being 'ok' to use until you completed a phase and told no #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

who is our new coach?
#kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

I'm excited about data notebooks too....it will be nice to share the responsibility with students/parents #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

i like that it has clear expectations...2-3 days week for tier 2, 5 days week for tier 3 #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

our last 30-40 min will be small group time for both subjects, so we will have time...just hopefully support to help us manage it #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

that was when Chupp was pulling for RTI purposes and I did tier 2 small groups then #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

We were planning on doing away with ELT and using the time for longer math/ela segments. We were mainly doing math instruction then #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

there is def more than 5%, it recommends that you reteach if your assessment shows significantly more than that #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

I saw that too....that is tricky when you add in kids that fail ACCESS, etc that have to be in tier 3 plus retainees, etc #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

Alesia- what happens if para is not in room with these kids #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

in the book they didn't actually talk daily about what was going on, it seemed everything was logged into same place #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

the book mentions sped or reading/math specialist doing tier 3
#kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

I did like how everyone logged all their info into the same place #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

this suggests that the teacher provides the most intense support while the actual support teacher works with on grade level kids #kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

it didn't mention doing data points beyond what you are already using, just how frequently you give them
#kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

i agree with you there Joyce...says we need research based curriculum adopted to use for data
#kespl

[Michelle Burns @mecessa]

it doesn't want them to miss normal class instruction for any RTI small group...it should be done above and beyond. #kespl
