In 1649, the French artist Claude Mellan created this portrait of the Face of Christ using a technique so unfathomably difficult that it completely defies modern comprehension.

The entire image, the agonizing crown of thorns, the deep sorrow in His eyes, the complex shading, was carved using one single, continuous, unbroken spiraling line.

He started at the very center, right at the tip of Christ's nose, and spiraled outward, creating depth and shadow purely by varying the thickness of the line as he went.

Christians are not passive. They are the most spiritually fired up people on this planet. They believe the Holy Spirit lives inside them. It moves through them. It FIGHTS through them.

Understand the internet belongs to people with spirit. And there is no group on Earth with more of it than believers in Christ.

We were having a discussion about what gives a story or a life meaning. My answer was that it comes through sharing it with others. God created the world to share His love, and He created Eve so Adam had someone to share the story of his life with. Connection is everything.
