Started playing chess on my birthday, 28/11 last year as a new age hobby🫠
Lost interest after a month or two but I came back somehow this year and here I am 1100+ under a year of playing.
Add this to my 1500 on Lichess and it's safe to say I have learnt one or two😎
Downloaded a random chess app out of curiosity but I couldn't beat the bots there so I left the game.
2 years after I decided to learn chess as a hobby and downloaded chessdotcom... The rest is history
If the Special Adviser to President Tinubu can lift an old video from 2022 and presents it to the world as “Bayelsa women on the march for Tinubu in 2026”, I fear we’re in deeper shii than we realize.
@knightskool Well my journey hasn't been structured but I play, analyse my games after and the contents of Gotham, Akeem helped too.
But majorly I'm just addicted to the game😭
Rebuilding Nigeria
Yesterday, Wednesday, 21 October, I arrived in London at 7 a.m. from Basel, Switzerland. It was one of my busiest days, filled with several engagements, including meetings with stakeholders in the UK.
I rounded off the day in the evening with a meeting organised by the COPDEM Chief and the NDC Director of Diaspora Affairs, bringing together other stakeholders in London.
All the meetings with British government officials and the Nigerian diaspora centred on our collective responsibility to rebuild Nigeria and free our country from the shackles of bad leadership, corruption, and the lack of accountability that continue to undermine our national development. These challenges have deprived millions of Nigerians of access to basic necessities, including quality healthcare, education, and decent employment.
Nigerians deserve a country where every life matters, where hard work is rewarded, and where every citizen has a fair opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or connections.
We must build a Nigeria where the child of nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody. A country that works for everyone, not just a privileged few.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
