Very nice and productive visit of my great 🇱🇹Lithuanian colleagues Rolandas Taraškevičius, Antanas Venckus & @MedaNacickaite at #VillaEuropa🇪🇺. We prepared the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council in the first semester of 2027. Strong agreement between our teams on the importance of stepping up our support for Ukraine in this 5th war of Russia‘s brutal war of aggression. And on jointly promoting and defending our common EU values and interests when it comes to the leadership renewal at the Rome-based UN Organisations @FAO @WFP and @IFAD.

#LTaid | Mahmudiyah Primary School, built with funds allocated by #Lithuania 🇱🇹 and intended for the children of the local Yazidi community, was opened in the Sinjar District of #Iraq’s 🇮🇶 Nineveh Governorate.

Mahmoodiya Primary School is nearly complete!

Construction crews have begun concreting outdoor areas, installing electrical networks & painting the school. Once completed, over 161 students will be able to resume their studies in time for the new school year. @LithuaniaMFA
