@MedCasey@ParamedicTutor@TheRealRead@HowdonC That's correct! Cincinnati was the first to introduce civilian ambulance care in the U.S. AND the first professional and fully paid fire department. Thanks for sharing a bit of our @CincyFireEMS history!
@ClearThinker66@Justifieda43579@anaesthetic_spr What one year course are you referring to? All three professions you mention are very different with their own skillset; one canโt replace the other.
@navyjava5@EODHappyCaptain@thomasbsauer@RobertIrvine A remarkable achievement indeed after telling a good few lies, and then admitting them. That being said though, his commitment to the Armed Forces community is admirable.
@TheStoicSailor They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Itโs a very telling state of our country that individuals would even consider such callous remarks like this.
@AchingRat Disagree, modern policing is complex and needs solid education, broadly-equivalent career paths are now all degree level. Residential training though, in my opinion, is essential for developing the correct values and standards from the outset.
9 years on from the London Bridge and Borough Market attacks. The public have very short memories. There is no such thing as two tier policing. At all. People who have grown up and spent their whole lives in the UK, donโt appreciate the public services that we have.
@DrSdeG Iโd say so, I rarely chat to a fellow paramedic who plans to stay on the road in the traditional senseโฆ Nearly everyone I meet aspires to move on to advanced practice roles.
@Ned_Donovan@hines_stephen Having a tick in the box for completing ELS or similar does not equal competency or proficiency in that skill. Thatโs not the fault of the officers though, in my opinion. To me, this occurrence is rooted in a lack of medical awareness and that must be improved.
