Our new Windows companion app is rolling out. Video on using this app. Leave us feedback and we are working on making this better
2/2 Users running Windows 10 on x64 platforms can download the following app. It detects the IP address of the mobile automatically and lets the user open the mobile folders by simply clicking an icon. Give it a try. https://t.co/KAD77fOJ0V
1/2 Hi all, one of the most common issues our WiFi FTP server users face is the change in IP address of the mobile. We cannot control this from the app as the IP address is controlled by Android OS / WiFi router DHCP server. To resolve this, we are launching an experimental app
@BenSacheri There is no difference between free and paid version. The free version has ads. The pro version does not show ads. Check steps in this video to prevent app from stopping automatically https://t.co/XwiMv9q5hl
@SahalKhatri Hi, we released a new version of the app a couple of days back with multiple new features and improvements. Upgrade the app see if it resolves the issue. If not, drop us an email, happy to help.
A few users complain about paying for WiFi Pro FTP Server app and not getting the app on their device. Google will refund the amount in a hours in such cases. Our thoughts on this issue https://t.co/7dvLDcGRTS
One of the frequent questions we get is about the WiFi FTP Server (and WiFi File Share) app getting a new IP address. Our thoughts on this issue and some resolutions https://t.co/SIif7QBicS
@sunnyformats@sunnyformats The IP address is controlled by the WiFi router. Go to WiFi router admin page, locate DHCP server and set a static IP address to your mobile. If you are using Windows hotspot, check steps in this video: https://t.co/Y4M6Sy6BcH
@Kamlesh04625104 Dear Kamlesh, we have replied to your earlier email. The payment on Google Play store is handled by Google and developers dont have control on this process. In situations like these, Google Play will refund your amount in 1-2 days.
@samcinemalover FTP has it's own advantages/disadvantages.... like ability to upload a folder and all its subfolders etc... This new app will have different features like ability to download apps/apks, ability to stream media etc.. in future.
@IssacEinstein89 The two apps serve two different purposes. The WiFi FTP Server app is useful to do bulk file transfers, has Windows 10 integration (over FTP) and typically requires a FTP client. The WiFi File Share is more for adhoc and quick file transfers and does not need a special client.
