@SpursOfficial A diagnosis in September and yet minimal signings in January? What makes you conclude that the leadership of this club is fit for purpose when thousands of fans and those with in the industry with access to the club beg to differ? Deeds, not words…
@talkSPORT I guess the reason why Arsenal is so discussed this season is that many fans are weary of Arteta and the impact he’s had on the team, his tactics, theatrics, gamesmanship etc. no one complained of Arsenal’s success under Wenger as they were a joy to watch.
@charlieparrish@Spurspapers This is sadly true I’m afraid - Kane and Son were a huge draw for junior fans, and I’ve really noticed the drop off too. Another example of the club not investing wisely and knowing the cost of everything but the value of nothing
@SpursOfficial Literally not now. I’ve seen plenty of bad comms and PR from the club in recent times (e.g. let’s announce some Beyoncé concerts at the Tottenham Stadium on the same day as a bad PL defeat). This is a new low. Literally no one cares about pre-season. A manger would be nice…
@CrossCountryUK@alexmcknight Update on the UK’s worst train service. 16:25 from Manchester to Bournemouth. Arrives with 4 coaches. Again. At peak time. Full and standing leaving with all seats reserved from Bham despite passengers showing other reservations. Chaos and another miserable experience
@CrossCountryUK@alexmcknight That attitude just about sums it up. I travel regularly on your services - they are routinely ‘short’ trains, most commonly half the scheduled coach length. This has very little to do with seat reservations, everything to do with whether the company can run a competent service
The most concerning aspect of the Tottenham performance is the body language. No pride or togetherness leaving the field. Alvarez left the field laughing almost out of embarrassment for us
@talkSPORT No fan of either team, and hope Bradley is ok. However, seeing Arsenal players getting annoyed about time wasting is hugely ironic - they have been at it all season
@patmurphybbc@5liveSport A true legend. Thank you Pat - you were the sound of my Saturday afternoons. A master of the match report - always positive, humorous and to the point. Thank you for all of your broadcasting and wishing you all the very best for the future!
Newspaper editors are going to have a field day tonight. ‘Utd battered by The Mariners’, ‘Mariners snare big fish’, ‘Grim Night for Amorim’, ‘AmorGrim’ eye etc. congratulations to Grimsby Town for an absolutely brilliant performance! #GRIMUN#CarabaoCup
