I have been a trial lawyer for 31 years, in Courtrooms all over North Carolina - more than 30 counties and counting - fighting for my clients for thousands of days, winning most of the time, but not every time.

I love what I do.

But notice that I used lower-case letters, to describe my vocation.

That’s because most ‘TRIAL LAWYERS’, and our trade association, are ultra-liberal lawyers who donate money to ultra-liberal politicians who oppose almost everything I stand for.

At times, this has caused some discomfort; I was a politician for an extended period and although I was a ‘trial lawyer’, I was not a “TRIAL LAWYER” and so more often than not, my own association supported my opponent against me.

Now that I am semi-retired from politics (emphasis on ‘semi’), I don’t think about it all that much, but over the weekend, I received the invitation, below from a TRIAL LAWYER email list👇🏼.

Governor Stein - himself the son of one of the most liberal TRIAL LAWYERS in NC - is coming to Wilmington in June to talk about how he can help the TRIAL LAWYERS elect more progressive candidates in North Carolina, like that’s exactly what we need. More progressive candidates🙄.

Look, I believe the TRIAL LAWYERS work hard for their clients and in doing their day job, make a difference. I know this for a fact.

But in their off-time, they raise a LOT of money to elect liberal judges and legislators who support open borders, sanctuary cities, high taxes, etc. etc.

So, why am I posting this today?

Because, we have an election coming up later this year, in case you didn’t know, and I just wanted you to be aware that the TRIAL LAWYERS (not this trial lawyer) are busy raising money for candidates that will destroy our state and nation, and if you care about the conservative candidates running against the Stein-supported candidates, then get busy!
