Little known fact, as everyone who watched, read, or worked with David Gergen mourns the loss of this elegant, erudite public servant and sage political observer: the last time a @CNN show outdrew @FoxNews for a full year was 2008, when both The Situation Room and @AC360 pulled that off. The highest rated segment in Anderson's show - meaning the highest rated 7 minutes on the entire CNN schedule that year - was "Strategy Session," a nightly conversation between David and Ed Rollins.
