Tint applied to the windshield and front windows of a motor vehicle are subject to laws and regulations. 🚔 Vehicle tint can seriously reduce the ability for a driver to see other drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians, especially at night. It also reduces the ability for others to effectively see if the driver of a vehicle has looked and noticed them.
Here are some quick guidelines!
👉 Windshield: No tint if extending 76mm or more from the top.
👉 Front side windows: Must allow 70% light through.
👉 Non-compliance can lead to:
👉 Permits and plates: Seizure and surrender.
👉 Fines: $110 for obstructed windows.
👉 Unsafe vehicle charges: Fines between $400 and $20,000, with a mandatory court appearance.
👉 Legal liability: Criminal and civil liabilities in accidents causing injury or death.
Ensure your vehicle complies with these standards as the LPS Road Safety Section is out prioritizing safety on the road. #RoadSafety #LdnOnt

Do YOU really want a $600 ticket? I didn't think so! When YOU see emergency vehicles with lights activated on the side of the road, it means MOVE OVER and if you can't, SLOW DOWN! Emergency responders want to get home safely to their families as well! Drive safe! #WROPP ^es
By 2026 OPP officers will be making 126k annually while most Ontario paramedics sit in the mid 90k range. The gap continues to grow and there's absolutely no reason for it. It's time to invest in our people and stop the bleeding.

On this day in 1915, John McCrae wrote his famous poem “In Flanders Fields”. It was written by McCrae after he presided over the funeral of a friend and fellow soldier during the First World War. The poem was officially published in Punch Magazine on December 8th, 1915.
So many years later, his poem continues to poignantly express the tragedy and losses of war, and the importance of carrying on their memories.

Projections tell us that many urban Paramedic Services in Ontario would need to double their size by 2035. We can try to achieve the impossible or we can modernize the system to acknowledge the reality of todays prehospital climate. Here's how we do it.
