Many stations no trashcans on platforms, 80% gone from the station. Combinis no trashcans outside and only a small hidden one inside. In parks? Gone. Insanity!

@atoreiyu200001 Sorry, why are we assuming this mess is only from foreign people? Japanese people visit this shrine everyday. Most Japanese people are very clean and responsible but some are not, especially when they think no one is watching. And why not just have trash cans? That would help.

@darkage_theDon @atoreiyu200001 @taylorRichie That was in 1995. This psychosis in Japan to remove trashcans has come to a fever pitch the last couple of years, 30 years after that attack. I really can't explain it. Is it cost cutting? We had trashcans and recycle bins everywhere in Japan until a couple years ago.
