Shoutout to @Hologic for leading the way in women’s health. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the exam room was the Hologic system. My anxiety level ⬇️ and my confidence level in the screening accuracy ⬆️.
"So I thought it was a good idea to fly by myself with a 2 yr old and a 5 year old 😐 we were standing in line in security, on the verge of tears because Wyatt was screaming and James was exhausted.
Out of the blue, one mom stops the line for security and says “here, jump in front of me! I know how it is!” Wyatt fell asleep and I was trying to carry everyone’s carry-on when another mom jumps out of her place in line and says “hand me everything, I’ve got it”.
When I said thank you to both of them they said “don’t you worry, we’re going to make sure you get on that flight.” The second woman takes evvvverything and helps me get it through security and, on top of all that, she grabs all of it and walks us to the gate to make sure we get on the flight. To top it all off, Wyatt starts to scream at take off before he finally falls back to sleep.
After about 45 min, this angel 👇🏼 comes to the back and says “you look like you need a break” and holds Wyatt for the rest of the flight AND walks him all the way to baggage claim, hands him” back and hugs me.
There are good people in this world.

At an academic conference this am, I poured coffee outside a meeting before I entered. I was informed that the coffee was only for attendees. I stated “I’m an attendee.” “No, I mean only the surgeons.” I’m wearing a conference badge and dressed professionally. #TheFaceOfCTSurgery
“I was on my usual running path when I heard an older man yelling loudly enough for me to hear through my headphones. "Sexy lady, hey hey hey sexy lady!" He kept screaming it and I decided to just ignore him and keep running.
This ignoring seemed to piss him off so he lashed out and said "eff you, dumb B****!" Now let's keep in mind he was well-dressed and appeared to be on his lunch break from an office job.
That was my trigger point. The B word. I ripped off my headphones prepared to stand up for myself when this little boy who was walking alongside his mother and little sister in a stroller looked at the guy and said, "Hey. That is not nice to say to her and she didn't like you yelling at her. You shouldn't do that because she is a nice girl and I don't let anyone say mean things to people. She's a girl like my sister and I will protect her."
The man was immediately embarrassed and started gathering his lunch to leave. I asked the mother if I could hug the little boy (his name is James) and I told him how grateful I was for him. He just shrugged and said "Well I just wanted to make sure your heart was okay."
According to his mother, this is a typical day in the life of James. Thank you so much to the mothers and fathers who are raising the next generation to be brave and courageous, and to be little earth angels for all. I am so touched.”

@doratki Hi Dorothy, I’m curious if you have seen any other recent examples of mass media reporting inaccurate or misleading information about Elizabeth Holmes?
Was hoping we’d find out today if #elizabethholmes request to stay out of prison pending her appeal, but the judge decided to keep us in suspense. Anyway, here’s my story on today’s hearing, as told through the eyes (and tweets) of Law360’s @doratki.
