KAUST Ph.D. candidate Sakhaa Alsaedi is a voice in science, demonstrating the impact of #KAUST women in science beyond the lab.

With a commitment to advancing education, Sakhaa founded Medvation, an AI-STEAM learning #startup that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) into science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education. Medvation leverages real-time, user-friendly AI technology to enhance learning across STEAM subjects, fostering ethical, creative and critical thinking for young generations.

Building on her four years of Ph.D. research at KAUST, Sakhaa has also launched DeepCARES, a startup that brings her research to life through the first digital twin technology for advanced inference and reasoning in personalized healthcare. DeepCARES integrates AI, biosensors, lifestyle data, and multiomics to deliver precision-driven health insights, bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and everyday well-being.
