It’s beginning to feel like the holiday season!

After 69 days on the PCT, I have hiked 1,420 miles. The photos are between Stehekin and the Canadian border. That ends my trip for this year. All national forests in CA have been shut down because of fires so I have no place to go back and start south.

After 65 days on the PCT, I have traveled 1,333 miles. The photos are between Stevens Pass and Stehekin in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. (Yes the 3rd photo is the snow I walked through on August 31!) The last is a photo of the wonderful bakery in Stehekin!

After 60 days on the PCT, I have traveled 1,201 miles. The first three photos are between Snoqualmie Pass and Stevens Pass. The last is a photo of me hoping to soon be warm, dry, and well fed.

After 56 days on the PCT, I have traveled 1,125 miles. The days between White Pass and Snoqualmie Pass were cool and wet. Photos of a typical view in this section, a marmot (hard to see in the middle), the PCT pedestrian bridge at Chinook Pass, and me about to be warm and dry.

After 52 days on the PCT, I have traveled 1,041 miles. Photos of the impressive Goat Rocks Wilderness: valley past Cispus Pass, me walking across a permanent snow field, walking the “Knife’s Edge”, a cloudy view of Mt. Rainier.

After 35 days on the PCT, I have traveled 668 miles. Photos of thru hikers walking the lava flows, the Sky Lakes Wilderness, my view from camp last night, and entering Crater Lake National Park. I had my best day ever yesterday: 32.2 miles
