Looking for advice on whether to negotiate a verbal offer or in the email afterwds? Previously in my experience, I had to accept the verbal offer before they sent me paperwork details. Am I still able to negotiate even if I technically accept the verbal one? Please help! #offer

What’s everyone’s take on resumes? Format not content
Here’s what’s worked for me for tech staffing:
- boring is better
- HMs & I hate charts, tables, columns etc
- conservative font
- couple pages is fine no need to cram into just one
- no pics

@KingTeaSweetZ@cinderlenin Thank you for your transparency. It’s sad to say but with inflation constantly rising, nobody can afford (literally) to stay loyal to a job for extended periods of time with next to nothing increases
As a talent person, I do not care.
Just have your reasoning together. I.E. career growth, expanded opportunities, contract ended, etc.
It’s not uncommon nowadays.

An easy way to broadly do research on industries is to use LinkedIn.
• Go to Jobs
• Insert the area you’re searching for. Ex: Sales/Customer Support/Admin
• Scroll to Adv Filters
• Go to Industry & type the industry you’re interested in
Search and research ✅
That is for Customer Success type roles. I hope to do more coursework and be able to add more skills and courses to my profile so I pull up in their searches.
I also changed my industry to ‘Technology and Information.’ #linkedintips#breakingintotech /2
Small win of today: a recruiter from a tech startup reached out to me on LinkedIn!! I am currently not working in tech space so this is really exciting for me! 🙌🏻
Some things I have done: added some key terms into my job descriptions, completed a linked in learning course../1
I talked to my manager about some of my concerns & desires moving forward and what kind of path I can take to get promoted within the company. I am so so proud of myself because every a few months ago I would not be comfortable having that kind of conversation!! #growth 🥲🥺😅
