@BradenTClark@Pshark14 We are going to potentially see lots of changes. Football apparently made less than $220K off football concessions. While we had conference mates clear over $2 million off concessions. The Maverik deal on top of others have to change or we fail in the new world of the NCAA
@BradenTClark@Pshark14 If anyone has seen the numbers, USU is considered to be 2nd to last to only Texas St in revenue sharing dollars in the new PAC, which shows that things need to change. Unfortunately they have to start trying to gain revenue or there wont be a good team to cheer for.
@StocktonJewkes I couldn't agree more. The HURD also gained more tickets in the process and outside of student fees, their tickets are still free. Unlike some other schools where they have to pay for tickets. The key here is keeping the volume up in The Spectrum vs courtside access in my opinion
@RCAggie@Bigmacmurph The Spectrum magic will remain the same. Giving more seats to the HURD will make it louder, that is the real game changer the HURD provides. Also they could either move the HURD or start charging for tickets on top of the student fees like other schools do.
@tc91585@BullSheetAlumni I agree now that entire area can stand the whole game. Which takes away the argument about nobody standing and interacting in the corners. With he added seats, hopefully the noise level increases as well.
@BarstoolUSU HURD leadership and Cam have spent weeks planning this out. The HURD actually got more seats and now can be louder than before. The noise is what impacts the game. Not the 25-30 seats sitting courtside.
@UNLVRebelGrl@NoSocksJonny@CurrentUSUAggie Thank you, enjoy having zero relevance and I look forward to UNLV begging the PAC to join when the MWC fails and they never pay UNLV a cent of their promised payouts.
@UNLVRebelGrl@NoSocksJonny@CurrentUSUAggie Wait so we need to go back over 30 years to get some National relevance. You are as bad as BYU fans that hang their hat on 1984, when they are the least deserving national champ in history. Great I will take recent success over past memories
@UNLVRebelGrl@NoSocksJonny@CurrentUSUAggie I love that USU is so in your head that you grasp at straws for anything. Remind me, when was the last time you won any title in the MWC or made the field of 64?
@UNLVRebelGrl@NoSocksJonny@CurrentUSUAggie Great so he went 2-1 vs USU this year. Josh won 1 conference tourney championship in the ACC and they fired him because his overall record in a "power" conference was below .500. What has he done lately and why is better than USU's coach?
@NoSocksJonny@UNLVRebelGrl@CurrentUSUAggie The guy nobody but UNLV wanted after he had been fired 2 years before & sat at home doing nothing. Oh and he did so well he finished 18-17. She claims USU made a horrible hire, our coach has 3 tourney teams since you last went, and that is even with a 9 year gap in appearances.
@CalhounsCats My issue is the fans that claimed they wanted Mason are now saying he would be riding the bench. Metrics show we would have been the highest rated player on Cincy last year & if I remember right 17th best in the BIG12. So to say he is mid major at best is a lie.
@AggieUp CSU is a team to be worried about. Ali is a great recruiter and appears to be a good coach in his short career. By all appearances he is starting to build something there.
For those keeping track at home, according to @EvanMiya, Mason Falslev graded out as the 17th best player in the Big 12 and would have been the best player on Cincinnati's roster last season.
@youngbloodaggie It's been a fun day to be an Aggie fan, lot's of interesting comments from people that forgot what they said over the last couple of weeks.
