@J_D_Underhill Except it was innocent civilians who bare the cost of Hitlers actions, not Hitler himself. The Allies were winning the war, the bombing of Dresden was not necessary.

We agree that Hitler was a terrible person, so if he does something, it doesn't mean the allies can do it too.

It's been stated multiple times that it was purely and attempt to bomb Germany into a surrender.

@Tachtra_e @Rhianno25594476 @NotHaryan Ineffective strategies like terror bombing. 25,000 people were killed during the bombings, the military value from this isn't worth it. Dresden was a city of culture and art, and didn't deserve to be destroyed.

Germany had already been defeated, their last ditch offensive failed. Allies wanted the war to be over, but that doesn't justify -
