Yesterday was the final day of our Stride through Summer walking challenge so this is the absolute last chance to support this campaign and our work at Frontline! I am just off my target so any last minute sponsors would be massively appreciated! https://t.co/ZnyKsl1wO8
In England, 700,000 kids need a social worker, facing tough challenges like abuse, poverty, and poor mental health. Walk 700,000 steps, one for each child.

@southstarbrew@queeniekuri Thanks Kieran, I really enjoyed reading this and being introduced to Talia Marshall’s work. I will definitely be heading to Unity books to buy a copy of Whaea Blue when I am in Welly later in the year!
@NPorter_@unlockedgrads So sorry Natasha and to the whole unlocked team. This just seems so very wrong! Really hope there is a way to salvage/reverse this situation, the need could not be greater.
@JoshMacAlister Fantastic maiden speech @JoshMacAlister! Excellent to have you and your voice of experience continuing to make the urgent case for change in children's social care.
Was great to join the @FBeyondBorders event yesterday, with colleagues from a range of brilliant organisations.
I look forward to being part of this continued work looking at how all children and young people, no matter their background, can have bright futures.
Just over a week until the 2024 @FrontlineSW Awards!
As well as celebrating children's social workers, we're also celebrating the amazing young people they support.
Take a look at the stories of those nominated for the @FrontlineSW Award for Young People 👇
Children and young people sit at the heart of everything we do at Frontline, including the Frontline Awards. It was a real privilege to read all the nominations for the Frontline Award for Young People, to learn about these amazing young people and all they have achieved.
Also made clear our deep disappointment at the recent decision to end @PathwaysSW leadership programme in July.
Given the challenges clearly outlined, we are very concerned about leadership development in the sector.
Thanks to @MattJClayton and others for their support.
Thanks @CommonsEd for the opportunity to speak about the children's social care workforce yesterday, with @MattJClayton and Lucille Allain.
We talked through a number of key issue facing the sector - recruitment and retention, early careers framework, leadership and culture.
@MattJClayton@CommonsEd Thanks @MattJClayton! Was great to hear about all the work you are doing in Coventry to improve the experience of children. Your tangible examples really helped bring the ideas to life.
Nominations closing soon for this year's @FrontlineSW Awards!
This is your chance to recognise and celebrate children's social workers and the young people they support - so send them in!

Powerful stories from some of the speakers about the challenges they have overcome, and a lively discussion of how we can all drive change.
@FrontlineSW's commitment to socioeconomic diversity runs through our programmes, our work with all partners and internally as well.
Delighted to speak at a great event this morning on social mobility.
Really inspiring to be with others sharing @FrontlineSW's vision of a society where life chances are not determined by social or family background.
Thanks to @Barclays and @Pinsent_Masons for hosting.
