This is what Asian Americans are facing 😭
While representation can help “humanize” Asian Americans, 58% of Americans cannot name even a single prominent Asian American.
This is why BTS coming to DC was so critical. Pls share this article 💜
It starts with compassion.
It starts with kindness.
It starts with YOU.
Thank you @BTS_twt for speaking up against discrimination and inspiring young people to understand and appreciate difference.

@Yaboii241@TonyTttttttt97@axios Are you ok? because that doesn’t even make sense. How can you say I’m a liar just because I didn’t experience it?? I may know people but I they never told me. I’ve seen people on YouTube who said they have. That still doesn’t make it every single foreigner.
@Yaboii241@axios I guess we’ll just have to disagree, you say it’s common but if it was that common I think I would have experienced it. Not saying people don’t have any racist experiences there, just saying I didn’t experience it myself. Also violent hate crimes are much different than slurs.
@Yaboii241@axios But doesn’t that pretty much happen in any country? You can try to generalize it and make it sound like all Koreans hate foreigners but it isn’t true and no matter where you go there will probably be people who are asses. It’s sad but there’s no perfect place.
