Helping people understand data privacy, avoid fraud & protect data
You heard about the Hindware vs Google judgment.
But the real issue is bigger than advertising.
A user searches for a trusted brand.
A competitor pays the platform to appear against that trust.
Technology is effectively being used to monetise another company’s customer intent and brand trust.
That is why this is also an information security and digital trust issue.
Trademarks are not just legal assets.
They are digital trust anchors.
Have you shared your Aadhaar today?
Every time you share it, you are not just sharing a number.
You are sharing your identity.
Most people don’t realize:
Where it gets stored
Who it gets shared with
How long it stays there
And once it is out, you lose control.
But here’s the practical part most people miss:
If you must share your Aadhaar, don’t share it blindly.
Write across it:
Why you are sharing it
To whom
On what date
Example:
“Submitted to XYZ Bank for KYC on 01 May 2026”
@IndianOilcl may keep harping about no delays in supply of #lpgcylinders but my personal experience tells a different story - dealers are saying straight forward that they are not getting enough stock and hence not able to fulfilled timely deliveries.
To top it off, #IndianOil uses "delivery date" instead of "booking date" to calculate next allowed booking date. Understand the math here:
Cylinder refill booked on: Day 1
Deliver on: Day 15
Next earliest date on which "booking" can be done: Day 41
