The entirety of this season his bad starts have been singular bad innings, and if he goes out the next inning he almost always goes 1-2-3. Even this last terrible start, horrible 1 inning. Went back out for 2 scoreless. He’s not dominant yet I agree.

@KChourioTruther @platinombrero Bobby’s best DRS is 7 (this season, before it was 3 or less). Simmons worst DRS was 13 in a full season. His best pace was 19 DRS in 49 games. Bobby has become a very good defender since his rookie and sophomore year (-18 and -5) but not on that level Simmons/PCA level yet

He had potential to be with 2 great pitches and control.But his last season in the NPB was also by far his worst given his oblique injury that year made his velocity tank and his control got way worse. 8 pitchers had better ERAs and he didnt even qualify

@hammer_rl Set plays, not plays. Yeah you can call for passes to wherever. But not in the way you can call for a gank/dive in league a minute beforehand. Everything in RL is a lot more loose since you have to adapt more and a lot quicker than in league
