Many services that help the pets of the homeless require the guardians to spay and/or neuter their pets. Paul, on the other hand, does not. The only people he won't help are those who breed animals irresponsibly, use them for fighting, or subject them to other forms of cruelty.

Paul fostered Bessie Mae for about six months in 2023 while her dad was in hospital. She was a genteel little lady who only on rare occasions demanded a ride by the donut shop.

In March '22, we traveled to Cape Cod to see where Paul grew up and to meet his sister, Norma Jean. We learned about Paul's family's history and the trauma that all of Paul's siblings endured in foster care in the 1970s.

Paul took him in for about six months while he worked on finding him a new home. Once Tiger made it into a rescue a few weeks ago, he was quickly adopted by a very loving family.
