INSTRUCTIONS: this tweet will serve as a giant Get Well card, walk-off, and flower station for Miss J Alexander. leave a get well wish, a prayer for healing, flowers, or the baddest walk you've ever seen (even if it's his!).
I'll start:
Miss J Alexander, doesn't realize he actually taught a LOT of us how to walk THAT walk.
We want to thank him for it. Thank you to him for being the authentic, charismatic, and empathetic presence that America's Next Top Model needed. We can't imagine how much is in his heart that he won't let leave his lips out of respect... and it's another reason he deserves his flowers. I know personally, my whole little raggedy friend group's walk changed up after copying his tips and still hit 25 years later. You couldn't tell us NUFFIN once we figured out how to walk in heels.
Before watching the show, he was one of the first real exposures my friends and I had to someone so unapologetically fabulous, empowered, & comically 'messy'. It was a joy watching him teach and it's been a joy seeing he STILL has that magic. He was a source of effervescence on ANTM then and even now, despite struggle nothing has changed. We should admire it amongst the stark contrast of what we've seen and learned.
My greatest wish for him is that he will continue to heal, restore to full capacity, and roll onto a runway then stomp the hell out of someone's Fashion Week. That he will receive new blessings & opportunities that suit his needs and his wildest dreams, for that kindness he showed in quiet moments we don't even know about. And that all that gorgeous hair of his will grow to the tips of his heels and naturally blow in the wind for no reason at all.
We love you & thank you, Miss J.
P.S. Remember... sometimes the universe keeps darkness away from our light, to protect it from everything that was quietly stealing it away. We can't wait to see you stomp, soon. ❤️
My heart is extra heavy thinking of Virginia Giuffre today.
She tried for decades to hold this network accountable, all to reportedly die by suicide just last year.
She posted to Twitter:
“You saw me at your parties, you saw me in Epstein’s homes, you saw me on the plane, you saw me get my haircut, you saw me on the streets, you watched me be abused. You saw me!”
