5A After completing this book study, I feel like I have a much better understanding of the progression we should be seeing among different level text. I will use the guides when evaluating student work to see if they need to level up or reteach that comp skill. #valricoreads

4A One of my guided reading groups struggles with identifying imp. key details. They like to pull all the information out of a book instead of focusing on just the important information. I like the idea of asking them the question of “how does this support the MI” #valricoreads

3A I think one of the teaching structures that is my personal strength is interactive read alouds. Being in primary most of our instruction comes during interactive read alouds. I use this time to show my students what a good reader does. #valricoreads

1A During reading conferences I will try to be more specific with the goals we set. I like the idea of writing it down on a post it for the student so they can see their goal whenever they need to. #valricoreads
