Residents of Lekki–Ajah face serious hardship due to the proposed 8-month road repairs.
Traffic is already overwhelming, and daytime construction will make it far worse.

The coastal road can serve as a temporary alternative if safe, controlled sections are opened.
This would massively ease pressure on the expressway during repairs.

I’ve only avoided the traffic because I have high-level security clearance access to use the coastal road route.
Most Lagosians do NOT have this access and will face the full congestion.

Why carry out repairs during working hours?
Major cities do heavy roadwork at night to reduce disruption.
Day repairs will:
– Increase gridlock
