@dallasnews Please don’t make me watch sports next to someone who wants a “destination experience.” Who the hell cares about lounges and food courts where there’s this:
@JoeJHoyt Please don’t make me watch sports next to the person who wants a hospitality driven experience!!! I just want the dopamine hits from the plays that generate these kinds of crowd pops. Fuck I’m gonna miss this:
@taylordbaird I don’t think people realize just how many season ticket holders exist outside the northern corridor. The majority of this map just got the middle finger. All those pockets south and west add up, even if they’re not stacked on top of each other like they are in Plano.
@MattRob19@itsme_waluigi@BruceLeVinePuck I don’t know why that’s routing around the lake to get to HWY 67? I dont have to drive around the lake to 4. If I did that it would definitely add mileage though!
@itsme_waluigi@BruceLeVinePuck The problem with your argument is that it appears you believe urban sprawl ends in the center of Ft. Worth. Or that the 817 area code means downtown Fort Worth? Surely there’s a reason Jerry built Jerry’s World in the center of the metroplex. I’ve never even been to Plano btw.
@taylordbaird The sprawl is going all 4 cardinal directions. The drive from Fort Worth to Hood County is nothing but 30 miles of construction for big new build homes. In short, I couldn’t agree with you more @taylordbaird !
@taylordbaird 3000 season ticket holders live in Tarrant County. I’m a season ticket holder and I live in Hood County (even further west.) Folks aren’t just moving further north, they’re moving further west as well. The sensible answer is to build centrally in the metroplex if you move.
@dallasnews This is such a middle finger to all of us with 817 area codes. We’ve been season ticket holders since the 90s, but we can’t make that drive multiple nights a week. This feels like abandonment by an org we’ve poured into for decades. Why are Stars alienating half the metroplex?
