🇲🇾 EPF announced a 6.15% dividend for both Conventional and Shariah savings!

This is the first time both funds declared the same dividend %

On paper, this looks fair. In practice this is highly unusual? 🤔

They buy different assets in different markets

Mathematically it is rare for 2 distinct giant funds to produce the exact same net return

Are the returns truly identical, or is one being smoothed to match the another?

Hope we could see the breakdown for both portfolios and the math

@NewsBFM the conventional account total investment in the market is 5.3x larger than the shariah account. And it's true that the conventional income are also much larger than the shariah account. So, it's total bull that the shariah dividend is the same as the conventional account.
