Only regret is that I couldn't tear these fuckers a new one with Saggers tonight.
But that's the problem, we've got to a point where any dissent is punished, so we have a pundit class mostly of nodding dogs.
Thank fuck for a @GNev2 today. 👏🏽👏🏽
@GeorgeMonbiot Carry on with this level of malevolent behaviour toward the British public and you’ll PM by May Day (fingers crossed so keep it up, Covid George!)
@GeorgeMonbiot Hi George. Thanks for all your great work. Do you think the following petition is worth supporting? Many thanks - Petition: Ban the use of plastic fishing nets for commercial fishing https://t.co/2MCXetflhT
Happy to tweet this every day if needed. 7 times Boris Johnson has misled the House of Commons. Come on
@BBCNews@itvnews@Channel4News@5_News@SkyNews
I’ve done the hard work, NOW DO YOUR JOB. Broadcast it & hold this slippery truth twister to account
Now on 5.1 million views but not a single UK news show will broadcast it or anything like it
It’s almost as if they don’t want the public to know Boris Johnson has misled Parliament practically every week since he became PM
@Ryanjt4000 @josieekearns It was considered bad luck to do anything on the 7th day/Dangerous Day so any activity was advised against except for the priests + lamenters wailing + apologising to the gods. Can see how this became a popular habit to borrow + augment + consecrate into the Old Testament.
@Ryanjt4000 @josieekearns It’s understood that the babylonians invented the “sabbath” which the called dangerous day, the 7th day. This matched the lunar cycle which they had calculated and professional lamenters would wail and cry every 7th day. This influenced Old Testament culture. 1/2
@Ryanjt4000 @josieekearns 2/2. So actually maths “invented the sabbath” - unions protected it. I believe, also, that Henry Ford amongst other industrialists normalised the two-day weekend which he wanted so people would have more leisure time and so be more likely to buy a car.
