Fall is snake season on the local trails. We came across 9 on our afternoon walk yesterday with 7 being live. While the 9 yesterday were 2 of our smallest species and very non threatening, all snakes in the park are non threatening and cute. So watch your step.

Our Salmon have arrived from Lake Ontario for fall spawning season. Watch for them along the river system. @TRCA_HQ

Just had the most amazing and inspiring 12 days at the Algonquin Wildlife Research Station for #BIOL4410 with @uofg. Huge thanks to @Newman_lab and @Ecology_forlife for teaching us and encouraging us to learn as much as possible!

“As not quite day became not quite night”, we hiked to a special spot to watch the sun set in silence; a moment of pure presence for students in #BIOL4410 to reflect, to write, to watch. Then we got rowdy again and took lots of photos of the gorgeous #sunset in @Algonquin_PP.
