A4: I know a lot of schools have their spring break in March and that can hinder kids' focus, but I would use it as encouragement-- second wind, from a runner's terminology-- to push through and work hard to feel like you've really earned the break #mschat#edit2000mane
A3: I think it's really simple to bring current events into a social studies classroom, but other than that I couldnt think of a natural way to connect most events into other core curriculum classes unless it's already related #mschat#edit2000mane
A1: as a student, I've always found that when my teacher is energized and excited (maybe they pretend) about what they teach, it's been more interesting to me #mschat#edit2000mane
@megan_asmith We are both looking at how related sp-ed services can help students meet regular classroom goals! You should check out the #ATchat, I've found really interesting information there. @mane_erika
@mane_erika @Johnath63965174 Hey! I see we are both focusing on middle school grades. I used the GSE website to accurately figure out what kind of lessons they were learning so I could use them for my GHP research. Maybe it could also be helpful for you! #GSE#MiddleSchool
@mane_erika@ElizabethDragg1 Hey! I see that we're both looking at how to incorporate different things into speech therapy sessions! My main focus is on connecting speech therapy to core class subjects, but I love that you're focus is on including iPads to help learning!
@fanny_passeport I love your perspective of "letting learning happen" as opposed to forcing learning upon students. When students become excited about a topic on their own, they're more welcoming to learning. #edit2000mane#StudentVoice
