Can we just talk about how hard it is to be a teacher and on your period? Specific times that you are able to go to the toilet, duties that interfere with break times and toilet access, dealing with pain whilst teaching. It’s exhausting.
Intimacy is more than just sex. It's having heart-to-hearts, staying up all night talking, sharing childhood memories, thoughts, fears, dreams & hopes for the future. It's uncontrollable laughter, direct eye contact and feeling each other without touching - it's exchanging energy

Today, we invited parents into school at the end of the day to search for the hidden QR codes. Once scanned it revealed each member of staff reading their favourite poem.
It was great to see families engaging in and discussing poetry!
I feel sad about how heavy the primary curriculum is. We are slowly sucking all enjoyment out of schools in the pursuit of proving to Ofsted our children have retained knowledge.
It just isn't fun any more.
Bad lessons happen. Bad weeks happen.
That’s teaching.
Good lessons and good weeks will happen too. Most will be somewhere in the middle.
There are too many variables to judge yourself on one lesson. Give yourself a break.
We won’t be amazing all the time. No one is.
