With just under two hours to go until Barrie City Council meets, over 23,000 emails have been sent to councillors demanding they don't pass this outrageous by-law. Let's keep this momentum up!
I've written to Barrie City Council demanding they don't pass a by-law that would make it illegal to provide food, drink or other support to people experiencing homelessness. Join me: https://t.co/sKo1hqXmpv

People experiencing homelessness are freezing to death in Toronto.
FREEZING. TO DEATH. In one of the world’s richest cities.
Let that sink in and please reflect on what it means when we allow this to happen…What a tragedy! 💔
@TorontoStar thank you for sharing. THESE are the voices we need to be listening to so that action can be taken to better population health. The #COVID19 response has sadly only exacerbated the existing inequities vulnerable populations face.#SocMarBU

Handling stress in life is difficult...Add in a pandemic and it can feel suffocating. @CAMHnews has a #COVID19 discussion forum to offer support and openly share experiences with anxiety - we need more outlets like this to support our communities #SocMarBU

Free access to mental health skill building and professional supports?! Count me in @CMHAOntario. The novelty of dealing with uncertainty re: #COVID19 shouldn’t have to be faced alone or at the high cost of mental health services. Thank you 👏🏻

Case numbers are soaring& time is of the essence to mass vaccinate. As this @europeansma paper asserts, vaccine delivery systems & services can generate fear or confidence in vaccines. #SocMarBU this paper can help us strategize for the latter https://t.co/gDSvh0WxO5
Hey #SocMarBU, did you know about @PublicHealthON's online learning offerings? In my week "off" at the end of the month, I'm doing the Health Promotion Foundations course. Anyone else looking to optimize their down time? Click the link!🖱

A very exciting step being taken by @CMHA_NTL (and many others - click the link) to address the needs and inadequacies in mental health care of Canadians! I'm eager to see the action taken and positive impact it has on #HealthEquity.

I never understand why some say "people will abuse paid sick leave”.
42% of Canadians (mostly high income) already have it. We don't ever ask if they’re abusing it.
Who do we have in mind when we worry about sick leave abuse?
These statements are classist. Plain and simple.
