A follower DM’d us to say that his 74-yr-old mother living in Limerick has been refused a medical card last week.

The woman worked all her life, has stamps built up and was fully means-tested. She was told she was €10 over the weekly limit.

Meanwhile, 106,000 Ukrainians have been given a full medical card without any means test, alone with social welfare.

It’s absolutely disgraceful treatment to this lady and double standards to Irish citizens 🇮🇪
We need serious political change in this country that puts Irish people first ☘️
