@BlindLandingPod I have to say, the golf dude who is commentating during the day is doing a surprisingly good job with this. I was like, oh, those pronunciations aren’t as terrible as I usually expect from NBC (sad to say)
@ShaneWiskthem NBC also explained scoring during prime time, and I was like, I understand the scoring and you made me confused. It’s TRULY not that hard. I don’t understand NBC’s whole issue with it except they clearly think their viewers are morons.
@jamie15785_j @AndreaG114@kmkeirns Or the landing itself, or the mat, or a cameraman dropped something and from a certain angle it sounded like a snap to people in the arena. Like when you are live tweeting, you’re reporting what you see and hear, and now they are adding details and corrections as they come.
@crdubb17@Pamchenkova Seems like whatever the sound was wasn’t her knee. Shilese is now saying she didn’t hear or feel a pop. If it’s not a tear or break I think that keeps her in the convo.
@thorpeheath@HIHOpodcast Great interview! So excited for the South African team. Also, Heath, you’re an absolute natural at this!! You should consider a sports journalism career!
@OnoNoKomachi1 I’m not surprised. I worked at Stanford and follow men’s gym and still didn’t ever see a meet, because it’s not well publicized. I found out about a friendly with the Japanese men a day late from a handwritten paper taped to a telephone pole. It’s a real shame. Hope it improves!
