Nothing makes me happier than when my younger siblings openly support and acknowledge my dream of becoming a composer, but today @PlayOverwatch added a new “maestro” skin for one of their characters and my little brother said “Hey look, it’s boomer Killian” I-

The fact that they chose to not have some epic “boss battle” music playing during this fight goes to show that the best choice of music for a scene is not always obvious. One must be completely invested in the characters and their stories to truly deliver a scene this powerful.

This movie is what made me understand, as a kid, how much an impact a movie’s background music can have. First example growing up where I would find myself not focusing on the plot and characters as much because I was so enthralled by the score.

I was there. It was peaceful, but I left with my friend around six. We noticed that there were a lot of cops blocking entrances onto the freeway and we were confused, but eventually got out of downtown. It is so sad to hear this happened immediately after we left. #Houstonprotest
