Yesterday reminded me how hard it is to keep the #impostersyndrome at bay when you work between worlds (faculty and admin) in HE.

Presented a poster that almost no one attended.
Attended 2 receptions where I knew a total of 10 people - 1 was hosted by my TIU.

It gets better?

I’m always surprised when faculty include on their dossiers that they use evidence-based practices. As if that’s a novel aspect of their teaching and sets them apart from their peers.

If so, that’s a sad state of affairs.
