July 7/18-7/20 over the last 3 days @thenyic collaborated to support the @ConsGuateNY Movil in Upstate NY. The consular services they provide are critical 4 the community. This event brought over 600+ people together, making it the largest 🫶🏽 gathering of 🇬🇹 Guatemalans Upstate
So far hundreds of Community members came through to receive vital services. Recently arrived to decades in US. Some drove 4+ hours and paid hundreds for a ride, others drove themselves a few mins. Many I spoke with were here all day and going to work the night shift. @thenyic
