4) High capital gains taxes

6) Our stock market has given close to 0% returns in the last 2 years

All these facts can be checked in 2 mins. But, some bootlicker will raise his/her head and call people tell facts a conspiracy theorist.

IMPORTANT: West Bengal is reportedly dropping eggs from school mid-day meals and handing over a vegetarian-only meal contract to ISKCON. Meanwhile, states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are expanding nutrition for children with more protein-rich food. School meals should be guided by science and nutrition, not politics or religious preferences. Keep ideology off a child’s plate, for God’s sake. 🙏

That is what Banks collected in last 3 years just for not maintaining ‘Minimum Account Balance.’

Not from the rich. Not from big borrowers.
From the poorest accounts in the system.
Their crime? They didn’t have enough money.

A farmer misses the minimum balance - Penalty.
A pensioner withdraws money for medicine - Penalty.
A daily wage worker falls short by a few hundred rupees - Penalty.

The poor keep money in banks for safety. Not to be quietly fined for being poor.

Financial inclusion should protect small savings, not punish small balances.

In Parliament today I proposed ending minimum balance penalties so the banking system stops charging people for their poverty.

My take: Whatever your view on @RahulGandhi ‘vote chori’ allegation, isn’t it bizarre that in this digital age machine readable electoral rolls are not made available? Isn’t that the easiest way to find out if there are fake or duplicate voters? ECI should surely be more transparent, not less to ensure total public confidence in the process. Think.
