All I need to do is make art and walk around loving people and dogs and animals and plants,moons, cans of soup, and gestures, undercurrents,philosophy, and giraffes, and beagles, mice, rats, dogwood trees, and old typewriters, the wind in the trees and the heart of it all.

But no. Persephone is underground but with the help of Bilbao, she will find her way to rise.
As long as we make art, we are saved!

Maybe if we can just focus our efforts on staying in the Lap or the Universe, we will let go of the violence and fear— this is what my dog, Ananda, whispered to me as we sat in the shade of the oak tree. She is so much wiser than the rest of us!
