Welcome to Season 4 of Fund for Teachers - The Podcast! This platform elevates our grant recipients as the inspiring architects of their careers, classrooms & school communities. Today, hear how an FFT grant was the catalyst in the life/work of Meg Helberg https://t.co/tsc9gUGhej
@craigmoody The cutouts on the billboard are what we call Villagers. I am proudly from Taylor, Nebraska. A local artists makes them and she receives orders from all over the country. Some are of specific people, some are fictional. Come out to Taylor and see what we're all about. :)
@gumphelberg @Forbes Yes! Nebraska has a quality public education system. We need to continue to support it and its teachers with the needed resources. ๐
Tomorrow I go #backtoschool@BHSLonghorns! Despite having real concerns, it feels good to know an incredibly large amount of people care about teachers and our school communities. Thank you, @ESU_10, @nsea_org, and @CCSSO for sending masks, words of wisdom, and calming energy.
@mrscxiong@Jeff_Zoul@cultofpedagogy@ToddWhitaker@casas_jimmy Yikes! Definitely not ideal with so little time to prepare, especially this year (I mean, right?). In this situation, try to keep the students in mind. They don't know/care/have input on who is teaching them, they just want a teacher who cares. That can be you!
