@ravbillan He didn't even put the drawer organizers back in the same way likeee that's what really gets me. If she likes it fine but that inattention to detail would put a damper on the experience for me
@LaViaLactea00 This was a big departure from the generally goofier Orlok we've seen previously. While I miss it, I think ultimately all the changes and more serious tone worked for the story Eggers wanted to tell. I had to sit with New-sferatu for a while before I started to really like it haha
@TheEternalNut1 Yeah, one of my favorite parts of the 1979 version is the boat slowly drifting into frame, ending with the captain tied to the wheel. But that isn't really necessary with the Ellen-focused story
@ENTROPEIA In the very first episode he hits some dude's fancy car for being annoying/rude at the gas station. That's the moment where he "breaks bad" and the rest of the show is him chasing that same feeling
@churchofysl Vegan wool especially irks me bc a) sheep don't die for us to have wool, they literally just grow it and can grow it throughout their whole life and b) at this point, domestic sheep don't shed naturally - we've bred them to produce lots of wool that we can then cut & use
@deestiv Like if the deals are in-store and only applied with a card then surely it could be a little ticket with a barcode that's only added if you scan a card too
@deestiv This + I have a physical card that I didn't add my email to within whatever time period you're supposed to add it. I can't add my email anymore so I can't take advantage of the in-store digital coupons at all
