Beets taste like dirt. In a bad way. Beets only "taste good" when they're mixed up with so many other things, you can barely taste the beets. If you mixed dirt with many other things, I'm sure folks would say, "Mmmm! This dirt tastes great!" After that, it's Stockholm Syndrome.
