For all you know, this person could be the caregiver for an organ transplant recipient on immosuppressive therapy. Or any number of things. I think getting bent out of shape over strangers' practices that affect you 0% is a mental illness.
I believe that many men and women in ag don't understand what sexism is. Also I think the agholes who try and rage bait me are just looking for a dominatrix and I have given thought about starting an OF so I can buy another ranch.
@Garretgraham007@rugboettcher all he has to do is look at the thread from the original photo I posted. There is sexism there.
Also, you know, he COULD just listen to women.
I don't twitter much anymore, I wanted to update the agholes on agtwitter who radicalized me when I started speaking up about the sexism in ag. I'm the first female ranch owner on my family running a female crew - from vets to interns. I am walking the walk. I am being the change
@MegRaeB Great job of making a big deal out of nothing.
Hard working farmers keep their head down and go about their business without looking for praise on the internet.
@caseymurph1@serendipitidoda yes butt-out! You don't know me. Both of you shoo!! Go away! Take you vileness elsewhere! I'm going to hire two more women interns in your memory so more young women can get involved in production ag!
@MegRaeB I wish you the best, but you have some unresolved darkness in you that needs therapy.
You will find you need as many allies as you can get if you want to make it in ranching long term.
Without them, your neighbors will sit by when the enemies of our industry come for you.
One of the biggest regrets of my life is talking about mental health in agriculture on that podcast. It put me in the crosshair of agriculture so when I started talking about 'isms in ag, I became a target. I lost my love for the industry and the people in it.
