One of my major goals was accomplished this month. I got an offer for a position with a comics startup. Working in the comics industry is one of my life goals and while this opportunity didn’t work out for me, it’s a sign I’m going in the right direction.

I’ve been really anxious about putting my writing and passion for comics out there as a career, but I’m following @GailSimone’s writing advice and I feel like I’m finally opening doors for myself instead of holding them shut because I’m scared. No more being my own doorstop. ❤️
