@Tom_Parker15 @Saved102718 @bostonmarathon @BAA To each their own opinion! Boston being special b/c of the many years it takes for people to get in is not enough justification in my opinion. 80% might be qualifiers but I’m interested to see men vs. women, and broken down by age group.

Boston has too many charity bibs, too many bibs given to company sponsors, etc. I’ve run other world majors from lottery entries & think BOS could adapt that to fit the needs of the race.

@Saved102718 @bostonmarathon @BAA There’s no reason for Boston to “narrow the field” in the way that they do.. they’ve made it too exclusive and difficult to qualify for the average person, and fundraising standards are astronomical for those who may not have a wide circle of friends to depend on for donations..
